Terms and conditions of use

These Terms and Conditions of Use govern access to and use of alarconlaw.com, operated by Solertia Abogados, S.C. —which operates under the trade name Alarcón Law. Please read them carefully before using the Site. The Spanish-language version governs.

1. Site owner

The website alarconlaw.com (the "Site") is operated by Solertia Abogados, S.C. (the "Firm"), a Mexican civil partnership operating under the trade name "Alarcón Law", with its address at Bosques de Radiatas 44, offices 403 and 404, Bosques de las Lomas, Cuajimalpa de Morelos, 05120, Mexico City. You may contact us at alarconabogados@alarconlaw.com or +52 55 1163 9390.

2. Acceptance of the terms

Accessing and using the Site constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Use (the "Terms") and of the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree with them, please refrain from using the Site. The Firm may amend the Terms as provided in Section 12.

3. Informational nature of the content; no legal advice

All content on the Site —including articles and blog posts, publications, newsletters, videos, downloadable materials and answers to frequently asked questions— is provided for general informational purposes only. Such content: (i) does not constitute legal, tax or any other kind of advice; (ii) does not constitute a recommendation or a legal opinion applicable to any specific matter; and (iii) is not a substitute for consulting a lawyer about the particular circumstances of your case.

The content may not reflect the most recent legislation, case law or administrative criteria. Solertia Abogados, S.C. provides legal advice and recommendations only to those who have entered into a professional services agreement with the Firm, and only with respect to the matters covered by that agreement. Until such an agreement has been signed, no content on the Site and no communication arising from its use shall be understood as a recommendation of the Firm or give rise to professional liability on its part.

4. No attorney-client relationship

Using the Site, sending a message through the contact form, requesting or holding an appointment, subscribing to the newsletter or reading the publications does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship with the Firm. That relationship is established only through a professional services agreement signed by Solertia Abogados, S.C., after verification of the absence of conflicts of interest.

5. Confidential information

Please do not send confidential, sensitive or strategic information through the Site until the Firm confirms in writing that you may do so. Information sent before that confirmation and before the execution of the corresponding agreement is not necessarily protected by attorney-client privilege, although the Firm will handle it diligently and in accordance with its Privacy Notice.

6. Client portal

Access to the client portal is personal and non-transferable and is governed, in addition to these Terms, by the professional services agreement entered into with the Firm. You are responsible for safeguarding your access credentials and for the activities carried out with them, and you agree to notify the Firm of any unauthorized use of which you become aware.

7. Intellectual property

The contents of the Site —texts, trademarks, logos, design, photographs, videos and other materials— are the property of Solertia Abogados, S.C. or are used with the authorization of their owners. Consultation and reasonable quotation with attribution are permitted; reproduction, distribution or modification for commercial purposes without the Firm’s prior written authorization is prohibited.

8. Permitted use of the site

You agree to use the Site lawfully and to refrain from: (i) interfering with its operation or security; (ii) performing bulk or automated extraction of content; and (iii) using the Site to transmit unlawful or defamatory material or material that infringes third-party rights.

9. Third-party links and services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. The Firm does not control such sites and assumes no responsibility for their content, availability or privacy practices; you access them at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". The Firm does not warrant that the Site will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Firm shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of the Site or the inability to use it, nor for decisions made or not made in reliance on its contents, it being understood that such contents do not constitute legal advice as provided in Section 3.

11. Personal data

The processing of personal data collected through the Site is governed by the Privacy Notice available at alarconlaw.com/en/privacy-notice, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

12. Amendments

The Firm may amend these Terms at any time. Amendments take effect upon publication on the Site, indicating the date of last update. Continued use of the Site after publication constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute arising from their interpretation or performance, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other venue to which they may be entitled by reason of their present or future domicile.

14. Controlling language and date of last update

These Terms are a courtesy translation. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version published on the Site shall prevail. Last updated: September 2026.
